How to shift my long runs to a different day?

To move a long run to a different day in Final Surge, you can use the drag-and-drop feature on the calendar view. Simply click and drag the workout from its current date to the desired new date. If you hold down the Shift key while dragging, you can create a copy of the workout on the new day.

Detailed Steps:
  1. Open your Final Surge calendar: Access the calendar view in either the Final Surge app or web interface.
  2. Locate the long run: Find the workout you want to move.
  3. Drag and drop: Click and hold the workout, then drag it to the new day you want to schedule it for.
  4. Release to move: Release the mouse button to move the workout to the new date.
  5. Check the new schedule: Verify that the workout has been moved to the correct date in your calendar.

If you would like all your long runs to be on Sunday you can set your race date or your end date of your plan to be a Sunday. If you like your long runs to be on Saturday you can set your race date or your end date to Saturday.

Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  1. Access Training Plans: Go to the "Training Plans" link at the top of your log.

  2. View Plan History: Click the "Plan History" button on the right.

  3. Select and Edit: Choose the specific plan you want to modify by clicking the pencil icon next to it.

  4. Adjust End Date: You can change the end date of the plan here.

  5. Confirm and Shift: Confirm your changes, and Final Surge will shift the workouts to reflect the new end date.

  6. Drag and Drop (Optional): You can also move or copy individual workouts or date ranges by dragging and dropping them on the calendar.
