Whoops! Double workouts showing?
If you have duplicate workouts uploading to Final Surge, you can resolve it by either un-merging the workout or deleting the duplicate workout. You can also ensure that you're not syncing the same workouts from multiple platforms (like Garmin and Strava) at the same time.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
If a workout was incorrectly merged with another, you can un-merge it. Access the workout context menu and select the "Unmerge" option. This will separate the GPS imported workout from the original planned workout.
If you have multiple copies of the same workout, you can delete the duplicate workout in Final Surge.
If you have multiple platforms (like Garmin and Strava) synced to Final Surge, you can choose to only sync one copy of the workout by unsyncing one of the platforms.
Final Surge gives users the option to sync a 30-day history from Garmin, which may result in duplicates if you already have that history in the system. If you're syncing a 30-day history, you may need to go through and delete those duplicates.
You can also remove the auto-sync from Final Surge, remove the Final Surge application permission from Garmin Connect, and then re-sync the accounts. When re-syncing, make sure to check the "30-day history" box.
If you've applied the same training plan multiple times to your calendar, you'll need to remove one or more of the plan instances.
If you're importing workouts from Garmin or Strava, you can upload them to an existing planned workout on your calendar or overwrite the results of a completed workout. To do this, click on the workout on the calendar, select "Upload Data," and choose the file to upload.
- You can also upload a new workout to your calendar by navigating to the day, hovering over it, and clicking the plus sign. Then, select "Upload Data" and choose the file to upload.
